Following our meetups in Moscow & Singapore we have now made it all the way ‘Around the World’ to Australia, with our first stop here being Sydney. We had 9 startups [listed below] pitch. Huge thank you to our local event partners, ALTA and Macquarie Group for hosting us!

Pitching competition:
9 awesome start-ups pitched to win two travel grants to attend the Legal Geek Conference on October 17 in London. The judging panel consisted of Marie Bernard, Nextlaw Labs; David Vaughan, Dentons; and two judges from ALTA, Stevie Ghiassi, Legaler; & Ian Marshall, Macquarie Group.

Sydney rocked! What an awesome event. We had a packed room in the freshly renovated Macquarie Bank – thanks so much for hosting us. The start-ups kept on coming, we ended up with 9 companies pitching and a notable amount of the more established players in the crowd and helping out, such as Lexoo, Legaler and The Doc Yard. It will be really interesting to see how Melbourne compares, we found it difficult to know which city to go to and will report back a comparison next week.
