** Update the Tube strikes have been called off **

You may have seen some rail strikes on day one of the conference (Weds 4 Oct) – . Day two (Thurs 5 Oct) is largely unaffected, the tube strikes have now been called off. Scroll down to view travel options.

All tickets to the Legal Geek Conference are valid both days (Weds 4 and Thurs 5 Oct). International travel is running as normal all week.
Please note published speakers (including Richard E. Grant) are confirmed to join us on both days.

By Thames private boat charter (free):

On Weds 4 Oct and Thurs 5 Oct – we are chartering a private Legal Geek Boat – OMG it even has a coffee bar! VIEW MAP OF ROUTE: Putney (8am) > Wandsworth (8.15am) > Chelsea (8.30am) > Battersea (8.45am) > Millbank (9am) > London Eye (9.15am) > Blackfriars (9.40am) > Venue

By taxi (£30 vouchers):

On Weds 4 Oct and Thurs 5 Oct – if you are unable to travel by Tube, due to the rail strikes – we will pay £30 towards any taxi fare (including all taxi apps e.g. Uber etc, Black Cabs, private hire and any other taxi service) used to help you get to the event. Please keep your receipt and head to the redemption desk beside the cloakroom or email it to [email protected] after the event. Valid for all attendees £30 / per person / day.
No need to pre-register.

By car (parking at the venue):

On Weds 4th Oct – there are lots of nearby car parks with plenty of spaces, including; Brick Lane Yard or Broadgate or NCP Whitechapel Road or Minories Car Park, please keep a receipt and we will pay up to £30 per day for car parking (the car park in the venue is now full on day one). 
On Thurs 5 Oct – you can d
rive to the conference and park free at the venue. Please carpool to start networking. It is possible to park overnight on day one in the venue car park.

By Legal Geek luxury mini-bus:

Bookings are now closed for the buses. Anyone booked on a bus will have been emailed a calendar invite with the address for pickup. 

Transport for London (TfL):

On Wednesday 4 October (day one) – the Elizabeth Line, Overground and DLR are all running normally with stops near the venue.

On Thursday 5 October (day two) – Transport for London (London Underground inc Elizabeth Line, Overground and Buses) is running as normal.

The closest station is Liverpool Street (Elizabeth Line, Overground, Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines).

On Weds 4 Oct and Thurs 5 Oct – if you would like to cycle in, we have added a secure bicycle racking storage area within the venue. Please bring your bike into the registration area.

British Airways have return flights from Manchester > London on both days. On Thursday 5 October (day two) – Transport for London (London Underground inc Elizabeth Line, Overground and Buses) is running as normal.

On Wednesday 4 October (day one) – some of the Transport for London network is due to strike. Details on the specific strike action are yet to be released (we do not know which lines are affected yet), we have lots of alternatives to travel around London including by private boat. Book a flight.

Hotels:

Make a trip of it, your ticket is valid both days and you can stay the night in a local hotel – see our hotel guide

Train travel:

Caledonian Sleeper train service from Edinburgh to London is running as usual and fully operational. Book a ticket. LNER trains are running from Edinburgh to London, check status
